What does an ISO readiness self-assessment tell you?
A readiness self-assessment helps organise what you say is in place, which evidence you can identify and which questions remain open. This tool reports those three measures separately. It does not independently examine your records or predict a certification decision.
How to use this tool
- Choose the standard and confirm the activities and boundaries you are considering.
- Answer each prompt using known evidence. Keep unknown answers visible and explain any exclusion.
- Add a reference to a record where available. A reference is a pointer, not proof that the record is adequate.
- Review the gap list, assign priorities and export a working copy for a competent reviewer.
Scope and limitations
The 28 questions are original prompts, not a complete reproduction or assessment of the standard. A high percentage may coexist with a serious unresolved issue. Avoid entering confidential material; record a neutral reference instead.
Use the relevant standard guide for current primary sources. Read the editorial method before relying on an example.
